This covers:
- basic parts of the skate
- how to adjust trucks, toe-stops, etc.
- how to replace trucks, cushions, toe-stops, etc.
- how to recognize when parts need to be replaced
- what options are out there to updrade your current skates (cushion options, etc)
- wheel selection (different widths, hardnesses, materials, etc)
- boot selection (fitting both length and width, common fit problems, boot features)
- plate selection (single vs. double action, plastic vs. metal, etc)
- bearings (ABEC ratings vs. Swiss vs. Ceramics, also how to clean)
The cost of the clinic is free if you are within reasonable driving distance of San Antonio, TX. Outside of that area, the cost would just be reimbursement for reasonable travel expenses.
